August 2, 2008 | I did it. I finally designed my own website. Thanks to a recommendation from Chris Cline to try Siteground.com. It was hard at first and I had to walk away, frustrated by technology (or my lack of knowledge of it). But the next day I was able to start again and, well, here you go. Tonight is the Gallery Reception at Kara's Skin Care Studio in Oakdale. I am showing my work with David Rodrigues, an excellent artist and kindred spirit. I need to make $500 to pay the next installment for the Scotland (Fringe Festival) trip next August. So in preparation for this, I took my mother's advice and have filled out a bank deposit slip for $500 and stuck it in my wallet. I'll let you know tomorrow how it went. |
